Official online release of the video 'Our Golden Age' by Paul Walker and Karen Pfeiffer

Official online release of the video 'Our Golden Age' by the Stoke-on-Trent-based folk duo Paul Walker and Karen Pfeiffer, recorded at Gladstone Pottery Museum.

'Our Golden Age' is a song that remembers the golden age of Stoke-on-Trent, an industrial city that has lost some of its heart to the modern world.

The song follows the stories of three men - Peter, Tom and Jack - typical of those, who would give their hearts and souls to the pottery, coal mining and steel works of the six towns and the video was recorded at Gladstone Pottery Museum.

The event is happening online, it is a watch party of the premiere of the video and will happen on Thursday 5 June, the actual centenary of Stoke-on-Trent being granted city status, at 6pm on YouTube. Come along and leave live comments. Paul and Karen will be there to answer any comments or questions.
