A casual history walk around Burslem
Start and finish outside Middleport Pottery entrance.
A walk around Burslem - the mother town - talking about the old characters. We shall cover Wedgwood, Williams, Wood and a ‘Witch’ plus a few others. This is not a serious activity, just an excuse for a walk. Moderate fitness level needed. There is street parking (non double-yellow) in surrounding streets e.g. Port Street, Harper Street, Travers Street, Burgess Street. Free. No booking necessary, just turn up. We shall finish within approx. 3 hours, there will be a tea/coffee/toilet stop half way round.
